Welcome to our home!
We, Rod & Barbara Pfeiffer, lifelong
residents of Klamath Falls, enjoy the view and the peace and
quiet of our property so much that we recently decided to share
it with quests. We invite you to come and relax and enjoy the
quiet beauty that will surround you.

In addition to a pond, rock gardens and
waterfall on the front and side of the house, the park-like setting offers quiet tranquility. The property is
located 60 miles from CRATER LAKE and is also an exceptional location for
birdwatching! The diversity of bird species is stunning
…perfect for serious life list birders as well as easily
accessible for casual birdwatching enthusiasts. There is a well
established birding trail within a half mile as well as there
being 46 other birding hotspots for you to enjoy in the region.
For more information see www.klamathbirdingtrails.com. On our property
alone, you can observe many small birds including a
family of quail, doves, gold finch and red finches, robins,
hummingbirds, and orioles. Right out our windows is a view featuring a unique combination of the city,
wetlands, fields, Lake Ewauna, and Klamath River. At any
time of the year in the Klamath Basin, you can see thousands of
wild birds down on the lake below passing through on the
Pacific Flyway. During the winter months Bald Eagles are
frequent, springtime brings sandhill cranes, pelicans, egrets,
herons, dancing grebes, geese, ducks, and swans. We also share
our home site with a family of foxes, deer, and two rough coat
Jack Russell terriers.
After checking in and each additional day
that you stay, join us in the Mt. Shasta Room for a
complimentary glass of wine or other beverage and a light
snack. Enjoy the view of majestic Mt. Shasta to the south, plus
the waterfall and the pond just outside the window. Breakfast
will be served at 8:30 in the morning unless you have special
needs. We will be happy to accommodate your schedule! Choose to
have breakfast in the formal dining room, or take in the
panoramic view of the city and lake while enjoying breakfast in
the nook or on the patio. There are comfortable sitting
areas throughout the house and outside on the patio where you
can relax and enjoy the views of Crater Lake’s rim to the
north, the Klamath Basin and Lake Ewauna to the east, and Mt.
Shasta to the south.
Devonridge Bed and Breakfast has two guest
suites, The
Linkville Room and The Lake Ewauna
Room which accommodate two
people each in addition to a large common area that can
accomodate extra people. Each room has a jetted tub, double
sinks, a fireplace, wireless hi-speed internet access, plus bay
windows that overlook the city. Stay cool in the summer, warm
in the winter with individual climate controls in each room.
Each room has a selection of books by famed author and family
friend, Rick Steber. Both of the rooms share the common area
upstairs which features a big screen TV, game area,
exercise equipment, bar, microwave broil oven, refrigerator,
and sink for guests to use as they please for snacks and meals.
There is an outdoor spa on the patio that
is especially wonderful to experience at night under the stars
with the city lights across the lake creating a stunning
display. You will also be able to see the lighted
fountains on Lake Ewauna that the local Rotary Clubs recently
gifted to the City of Klamath Falls.
The Klamath Basin is “sweet to the
soul, and heaven for the weary mind”. While you are
here there are activities for all interests. Check out these local visitor information websites
